If the products shows as IN STOCK this means it is in our New Zealand warehouse ready to ship. We DO NOT drop ship from overseas.
All orders placed before 1:45pm are shipped same day (business days)
Orders are shipped via tracked overnight courier and are generally delivered next day. (Some South Island destinations may take 2 days but are often completed next day) - Rural delivery may add an extra 1 to 2 days
Tracking information is automatically provided via email and the customer can follow the progress of their shipment from dispatch to delivery.
All of our items ship with 'Signature Required' by default for orders over $100 - If the customer requests 'no signature required' we cannot accept liability for missing or stolen items that may be taken from your property or mailbox.
The battery is my only downside still sufficient though, my previous phone was the S3 pro with a 5150ah battery so probably a little spoilt after this one.
Delivery was one week not the two days as indicated to the south island on the website.
This was due to being delayed by the courier.
All up I would buy umidigi anytime over more expensive brands.
The price is great and the technology even better.
I chose this phone for two reasons: 1. The favourable reviews and, 2. The price. I've been thinking about moving on from my Samsung S8 for some time due to Samsung's habit of cancelling the free apps it came with (same with their televisions and tablets) and all the Samsung bloatware that slows it down. I was also finding the battery charge not lasting. Basically, I was finding the phone wearing out despite being taken care of. So I wanted a new mobile and I didn't want another Samsung.
Actually, I went down to the Vodafone shop and looked at the new Samsung models and despite all the features (bells & whistles) I thought they were vastly overpriced for something I knew from experience Samsung would make obsolete in a couple of years. So I started looking for alternatives online and stumbled across the UMIDIGI A9 Pro.
It had all the features I needed (unlike so much of the stuff Samsung puts on their phones) and the price ... well it was amazing. But the best was yet to come. I nearly bought my new phone from another online retailer but they didn't have a case. And while searching for a NZ source for the case I not only found one at NOCO, but the same phone for over NZD50 cheaper.
The transaction was hassle-free and delivery was very fast. What was even less of a hassle was transferring my contacts, apps, etc from my S8 to my A9 Pro. In most cases the apps I'd already paid for on the S8 worked perfectly on the new phone without me having to find the passwords.
The only hiccup was when it came to me installing the SD card. My old OS was Android 9. The new one is Android 10 and it asked me to choose between using the SD for "internal storage" or "portable storage." I choose internal and was unable to download music, images, etc from my PC to the new phone until I changed it to portable - which is what I should have chosen in the first place. Thanks to Allan at NOCO for steering me in the right direction.
I am extremely satisfied with the phone and find it far more responsive and easy to use than the S8. I am also very impressed with the battery performance. I've put in two SIM cards (Vodafone and Spark) due to the the weak and unreliable Vodafone signal where we live. So if Vodafone let's me down I can quickly switch to Spark if needed.
I totally recommend the UMIDIGI S9 Pro for performance and value and NOCO for their excellent prices and customer care. 10 out of 10.
